Pandora - The World of Avatar
February is sometimes looked upon as the season of love, so for this month of affinity, I'm going to write a review about the ride in Disney World that I love the most! Pandora – The World of Avatar, Flight of Passage inside Disney's Animal Kingdom! We had a Fastpass luckily so we, fortunately, sashayed right to the front of the line and it was AMAZING! Better than we could have ever imagined. It was as if we were flying on top of an actual Banshee… SO realistic! The smell of the sea, the dipping and careening through authentic sights & sounds... We describe it as "Soarin' on steroids!" You could feel the wind breathing and breeze through your hair. Some folks who are prone to motion sickness may want to do a hair more research, but we absolutely loved it... Located in the Valley of Mo'ara is the Na'vi River Journey attraction as well, where journeys are deep into a bioluminescent rainforest in search of the Na’vi Shaman of Songs! The colors are iridescent and surreal... you truly feel transformed into another realm! But there's more... the specialty food is beyond what you could conjure in your mind- or your kitchen!. There are vegan options as well! Quick tip- our favorite time to go to Disney's Animal Kingdom is either first thing in the morning or the later afternoon/ evening. The park can get steamy during midday, and as a bonus, if you wait, the Tree of Life is even more majestically beautiful when lit up at night! So a big Cupid's arrow for Animal Kingdom's Flight of Passage in the magical land of Pandora!
